WPM - Silver price plunges to 14-month low; silver miners sharply lower
Silver futures collapse below $22/oz. to their lowest since July 2020, attributed to trouble with China, a slowing economy and a stalemate in Congress. December Comex silver (XAGUSD:CUR) -4% to $21.55/oz., dragging down silver mining shares across the board: CDE -3.6%, EXK -3.1%, HL -2.8%, FSM -2.8%, AG -2.7%, SVM -2.4%, PAAS -2.2%, WPM -0.9%. ETFs: SLV, SIL AGQ, USLVF, SLVP, ZSL "Gold and silver prices have been hit by a new rebound of the U.S. dollar and by the rise of the 10-year yields," Kinesis Money Money analyst Carlo Alberto De Casa writes. Gold futures tumbled yesterday to their lowest settlement in seven weeks.
