• Skeena Resources released an updated resource estimate for its Eskay Creek Project this week, with gold-equivalent resources at the project increasing by more than 20% to ~5.57 million ounces.
• Notably, the measured & indicated portion of the resource grew considerably, and has more than doubled to over 5.27 million ounces from 2.46 million ounces previously.
• This sharp increase in resources at Eskay Creek has moved Skeena's global gold-equivalent resource to above 6.0 million ounces, making the company a rarity in the sector.
• I continue to see Skeena as a takeover target based on this updated resource, and I would view any pullbacks below US$2.10 as low-risk buying opportunities.
