SKIL - Skillsoft picks industry veteran as CFO

Skillsoft (SKIL -1.2%) appointed Gary W. Ferrera as CFO, effective Sep.30 and Eric Boyer as SVP, Investor Relations who will join in Q4; Mr. Ferrera has 30 years of global financial leadership. Most recently, Mr. Ferrera served as CFO of Cardtronics from 2017 until its recent acquisition by NCR Corporation for $2.5B in cash, including debt. Ryan Murray, the company’s Chief Accounting Officer and interim CFO, will continue in his role as Chief Accounting Officer. James Gruskin, who served as its interim Head of Investor Relations, will continue in his role as SVP, Corporate Development.
