U.S. House and Senate tax writing committees have tentatively agreed to a package of tax incentives including extension of credits for wind and solar projects ([[TAN]], [[FAN]]) that would be part of a must-pass government funding bill if a deal on COVID stimulus can be reached, Bloomberg reports.The committees are said to support the inclusion of a one-year extension of tax credits for the wind and solar industries at their current level as well as the multiyear extension and expansion of a tax credit for the underground storage of carbon dioxide.Separately, U.S. solar power capacity additions accounted for 43% of all incremental power generation capacity YTD through Q3 and appear set for a record 19 GW of new solar capacity installations in 2020, despite the COVID-related slowdown earlier in the year, according to a report from the Solar Energy Industries Association.U.S. solar firms installed 3.8 GW of incremental solar PV
