SolaWave, an LGBTQ+ and Black-Owned Skincare Brand, Celebrates Juneteenth & Pride with $50K Philanthropic Campaign

The Skincare Technology Brand Joins Forces with The Lavender Rights Project, Black & Pink National, and The Transgender District to Raise Funds For The Black LGBTQ+ Community

LOS ANGELES , June 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- SolaWave , the Los Angeles -based beauty device and skincare brand, has kicked off "SolaWave Celebrates," a philanthropic campaign to commemorate Juneteenth & LGBTQ+ Pride Month. The company is honoring the coinciding holidays by partnering with and donating to organizations that address issues affecting the Black LGBTQ+ community. The campaign target is to raise $50,000 for these organizations by the end of June.

To drive the campaign, SolaWave has produced a limited edition of its signature Advanced Skincare Wand in a custom violet ombre colorway "Sunset," an ode to the original color of the gay pride flag representing the spirit of the movement. SolaWave has pledged to donate $15 from each sale of the limited edition wand to the "SolaWave Celebrates" fund, facilitated by the blockchain philanthropy platform Endaoment .
