Sonia joins the Bank’s commercial banking division as a Managing Group Director responsible for leading a team of relationship managers in support of the Bank’s growth into Long Island.
With more than 20 years of financial services experience, Sonia joins Peapack Private from Flagstar Bank, formerly Signature Bank, where she was a vice president, group director, responsible for building and managing a commercial portfolio worth more than $130 million. Prior to Flagstar, Sonia was a vice president, senior relationship manager at HSBC Bank USA, Rego Park, NY, responsible for new business development and managing a commercial portfolio worth more than $58 million. At Banco Popular, she managed a $42 million branch location in Corona, NY. Sonia attended the University of Puerto Rico in Arecibo.
