CHPT - SPAC DHC Acquisition gains on report of talks to take EV-charging startup FreeWire public

Scharfsinn86/iStock via Getty Images SPAC DHC Acquisition (DHCA) rose 2.1% in premarket trading on a report that the firm is said in talks to take electric-vehicle charging startup FreeWire Technologies public. DHC is in talks about raising new equity for a deal that will value the  combined company at more than $1B, according to a Bloomberg report. Several other electric-vehicle charging companies have agreed to go public though SPACS including ChargePoint (CHPT), EVBox (TPGY) and EVgo (CLII). In March, Tech SPAC DHC Acquisition launches $300M IPO, starts trading.
