DMYI - SPAC DMY Technology III gains after confirming deal with IonQ

SPAC DMY Technology III (DMYI) rose 3.9% in premarket trading after confirming a deal to take cloud computing company IonQ public in a deal that will value the company combined at about $2b.The deal will result in $650m in gross proceeds, including a $350m PIPE with participation from Fidelity, Silver Lake, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, MSD Partners, and vehicle makers Hyundai Motor and Kia, according to a statement.Upon close of the transaction, the shares of the new company will trade on the NYSE under symbol "IONQ."Recall Feb. 23, SPAC DMY Technology III gains on talks to take quantum computing company IonQ public.
