TWNT - SPAC Tailwind Acquisition is said in a deal to take Terran Orbital public
SPAC Tailwind Acquisition (NYSE:TWNT) agreed to a deal to take satellite maker Terran Orbital public in a deal that will value the company at $1.58B. The transaction will give Terran access to about $345M held by the SPAC, according to the WSJ, which cited an interview with Terran CEO Marc Bell. The deal also includes $125M in additional funds from investors including Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) and private-equity firms AE Industrial Partners and Francisco Partners. Terran makes satellites for customers including NASA, the U.S. Defense Department and EchoStar Corp (NASDAQ:SATS). Tailwind Two Acquisition gained 1.8%.
