- Standard Lithium ( NYSE: SLI ) said the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a notice of allowance for a patent covering Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) process for recovering lithium from brines.
- The patent application no. 16/895,783 titled 'Process for Recovering Lithium from Brines', is the company's third U.S. patent application, with the same name, for which a notice of allowance has been issued.
- The company noted that the three patent applications comprise a portion of its proprietary technique for continuous DLE from lithium brines.
