STC - Stewart Information acquires AccountChek digital verification platform

• Stewart Information Services ( NYSE: STC ) said Wednesday its Informative Research (IR) subsidiary acquired the AccountChek platform , which provides digital verification of assets, income and employment, from FormFree.
• The combined IR and AccountCheck platform creates a single place to digitally verify consumer financial data, including credit, income, employment, and assets, allowing customers to streamline their loan underwriting process, improve closing ratios, and expand access to mortgage credit, the company said.
• Terms of the acquisition weren't disclosed.
• In December, Stewart Information ( STC ) acquired BCHH, adding to its expertise in bulk transactions.
