STC - Stewart Information adds to valuation business with Pro-Teck deal

Stewart Information Services ([[STC]] -7.3%) acquires Pro-Teck Services, which operates under the Pro Teck Valuation Intelligence name, to bolster its appraisal and valuation solutions business.Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.The acquisition was made by STC's Stewart Appraisals Management subsidiary.Pro Teck’s platform enables a single source of property valuations for mortgage originators, servicers and investors, Stewart said.The acquisition follows STC's purchase of United States Appraisals in June.
