I haven't covered STMicroelectronics in some time. My last coverage was way back in 2022, over 3 years ago at this point - and while the company has underperformed relative to the current results, it's important to at this time point out that initially and to about year-end 2024, the company had actually outperformed or at least done positively. The company's performance towards early 2023, when STM reached about $50/share, was enough at the time to cause me to sell my stake in the company at the time, with a profit of well over 20% inclusive of dividends....
