Here is the second edition of Simple Digressions review of the streaming/royalty sector. Since the first issue (December 12), the segment delivered outstanding results, led by Wheaton (I discuss this company below). As a result, the sector once again outperformed classic miners (represented by GDX, one of the most popular gold mining ETFs) — look at the red, up-sloping line on the chart below:
