Super Bowl Sunday, one of the most significant gambling days on the calendar, will see the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs battle it out for the NFL championship. Meanwhile, regardless of the outcome, a handful of exchange traded funds related to sports betting and gaming are looking to capitalize off the NFL’s biggest stage.
Three funds in particular that may be poised for price swings are the Roundhill Sports Betting & iGaming ETF ( NYSEARCA: BETZ ), iBET Sports Betting and Gaming ETF ( NASDAQ: IBET ) and the iBET Sports Betting and Gaming ETF ( NASDAQ: BJK ).
All three ETFs offer exposure to the sports betting and iGaming industries. That means that many of the funds' top holdings will have a keen interest in the Super Bowl, hoping to draw as much revenue as possible during a crucial gambling centerpiece.
The Super Bowl is projected to see game viewership above 100M. Meanwhile, the big game also is anticipated to see over 50M Americans place bets that are projected to have a net wager total of $16B according to Bloomberg.
