SLGG - Super League Gaming -3.4% after Q3 earnings where revenues double
Super League Gaming (SLGG) has turned 3.4% lower postmarket after its Q3 earnings, where revenues doubled, though losses were near flat. Revenues jumped to $718,000 from a year-ago $350,000, mainly due to an increase in advertising and content sales. Cost of revenue rose 70%, and overall operating expenses ticked up to $4.7M from $4.6M. GAAP net loss narrowed slightly, to $4.3M from a year-ago loss of $4.4M. Pro forma net loss was $3.8M, vs. a comparable loss of $3.7M a year ago In operating metrics, registered users rose to 2.4M from 1M at the end of 2019; engagement hours rose 218% to 47.7M hours (vs. 15M hours for full 2019), and viewer impressions rose to 1.4B, nearly 12 times the full 2019 number.
