Tactile Systems Technology ( NASDAQ: TCMD ) said Thursday it intends to offer and sell shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering.

TCMD intends to grant the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of its common stock.

All of the shares of common stock to be sold in the proposed offering will be sold by TCMD.

The net proceeds of the offering are expected to be used to expand commercial activities, fund milestone payments, support new product development, among other things.

Other pricing and offering terms were not disclosed.

William Blair & Company is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering.
