TIXT - Telus International wraps Lionbridge AI acquisition with CFIUS approval

Telus International (TIXT +1.2%) has completed its acquisition of Lionbridge AI. That follows clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States. Canada's Telus (TU +0.3%) announced the C$1.2B debt/equity deal in conjunction with earnings on Nov. 6. Lionbridge AI is a provider of "crowd-based training data and annotation platform solutions used in the development of AI algorithms to power machine learning" - what Telus International calls one of only two globally scaled, managed training data and data annotation services and platform providers in the world.
