TRMR - Tremor International jumps on report of renewed takeover interest

- Tremor International ( NASDAQ: TRMR ) rose 10% on a report that the digital advertising company has been contacted in recent weeks about a potential takeover.
- Tremor ( TRMR ) has asked Goldman Sachs bankers to help review its options and evaluate offers, according to a S ky News report, which cited unidentified sources. It's possible that no formal bid will be made.
- Sky News reported in November 2021 that Tremor ( TRMR ) held talks with a private equity firm about a potential takeover. In June a Betaville said there was speculation that an unidentified company may be interesting pursuing a purchase of the digital adtech firm.
- The Betaville item said in the past the company is said to have attracted interest from several PE firm such as Providence Equity Partners and possibly CVC Capital and Blackstone .
- In July Tremor ( TRMR ) agreed to acquire advertising platform Amobee for $239M to expand its global market share.
