NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 09, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Truxton Trust (OTCPK: TRUX) announced that M. Shannon Buckner, CFP®, CTFA, has joined the firm as Senior Vice President and Senior Wealth Advisor, bringing over 24 years of experience. Shannon joined Truxton Trust from SunTrust Bank Private Wealth Management, where he served as Trust Advisor and First Vice President.
Shannon has earned degrees from Freed-Hardeman University, Belmont University, and the American Bankers Association Trust Graduate School. He is a past board member of the Financial Planning Association of Middle Tennessee and member of the Middle Tennessee Estate Planning Council. He is a two-time U.S. Presidential Volunteer Service Award winner for his service to organizations including the American Red Cross, Best Buddies of Middle Tennessee, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
