• A divided government is probably the best scenario for the fixed-income markets.
• The Fed’s announcements that it is going to be highly supportive of a market, lower for longer, have provided a lot of stability to the fixed-income markets and some predictability.
• We haven't seen any signs of any material uptick in inflation, which is also very supportive for fixed-income markets.
• The COVID vaccine announcements have also been highly supportive. Capital markets are responding positively, and we’ve seen a minor back-up in bond yields, with credit spreads tightening.
