The U.S. and Germany are expected to announce a deal in the coming days to resolve their dispute over Russia's Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline, Reuters reports.President Biden and German Chancellor Merkel failed to settle their differences over the pipeline when they met last week, but the two sides are said to be nearing an agreement that would assuage concerns raised by lawmakers in the U.S. as well as in Ukraine.
