UL - Unilever looking for new board chair to replace Nils Andersen - report

• Unilever ( NYSE: UL ) is looking for a new board chair to replace Nils Andersen.
• The maker of Dove soap and Ben & Jerry's ice cream appointed executive search firm Spencer Stuart to lead the search for a new chair, according to a Bloomberg report, which cited people familiar with the matter.
• The search comes after Unilever ( UL ) named Hein Schumacher in late January to succeed Alan Jope as CEO, effective July 1. The exit of the CEO and board refresh follow activist Nelson Peltz's appointment to the board last year.
• Unilever ( UL ) announced last Tuesday that its CFO, Graeme Pitkethly, plans to retire by the end of May 2024 .
