LHCG - UnitedHealth LHC receive second request from FTC over merger

UnitedHealth Group (NYSE:UNH) and LHC Group (NASDAQ:LHCG) have each received received a request from the Federal Trade Commission for additional information in regards to the former's acquisition of the latter. In essence, the second request as it is known extends the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino antitrust legislation. The companies said they have been working with the FTC and will continue to do so. UnitedHealth (UNH) agreed to buy the home health business for $5.4B in March.
