  • Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
  • According to UNVR, ChemSol operates in Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, and Honduras.
  • UNVR said the acquisition would strengthen its geographic footprint in the Central American region.
  • The deal also further strengthens UNVR's product portfolio in beauty and personal care; food; pharmaceuticals; coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers; and other industries.
  • Univar Solutions ( UNVR ) stock earlier closed -0.8% at $34.87.
