Calgary, AB – TheNewswire - April 10, 2024 – Universal Ibogaine Inc.( TSXV:IBO ) (“ UI ” or the “ Company ”), a life sciences company with amission to research and deliver medicalized ibogaine-centeredaddiction care, is pleased to announce that it has closed itspreviously announced (see News Release of February 22) non-brokeredprivate placement offering of common shares (the “ Offering ”) and hasissued 57,557,600 common shares at a price of $0.01 per share forgross proceeds of $575,576.
The proceeds from the Offering are intended to be usedin advancing the Company's planned ibogaine-based clinical trialapplication process with Health Canada, and for general workingcapital purposes.
All securities issued in connection with the Offeringwill be subject to a four ? month hold period as required by the rules of the TSX VentureExchange and Canadian Securities Laws, as well as any required holdperiods under US Securities Laws for US resident purchasers.
