MIK - UPS to hire over 100000 essential workers for upcoming holiday season

In preparation of peak holiday season, UPS (UPS -1.1%) expects to hire more than 100,000 essential seasonal employees to support the anticipated annual increase in package volume that will begin in October 2021 and continue through January 2022. Over the last three years, about one-third of people hired for seasonal package handler jobs were later appointed in a permanent position. The company encourages all candidates to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Last week, Walmart (NYSE:WMT) announced to hire 20K supply chain associates.
