UBP - Urstadt Biddle Properties: My Most Successful Investment Of 2020

• My favorite aspect of tri-state suburb shopping center REIT UBA is the fact that it's a family business largely owned and run by the Urstadts and the Biddles.
• The portfolio is well-located in affluent suburbs surrounding New York City, into which a wave of urbanites flooded during the pandemic.
• The balance sheet is strong, and the REIT has some growth opportunities despite high commercial property values in its areas.
• Despite large capital gains, I look at my investment in UBA with a landlord's mindset, caring less about the stock price than about the income generated from my invested capital.
