• We're starting to see some downward volatility in the general markets which has impacted BDC pricing.
• Most analysts are pointing to the fear of inflation but there could also be some profit-taking and potentially part of the "Sell in May and Go Away" strategy.
• I will be taking advantage of upcoming volatility and "oversold" conditions driving lower BDC prices providing opportunities to lower average purchase prices.
• The average yield for the BDC sector is currently 9.2% but could easily trend higher over the coming months especially if markets switch back to "risk-off."
