REAL - Value investor outpacing benchmark unveils six names including those in tech sector
Unlike many value players, Miller Value Investors isn't shy about investing in tech companies.Miller Value highlighted six new positions in its most recent quarterly letter to investors, and half of those new names are in the tech sector. The fund's unconventional thinking may be paying off given its strong recent performance, returning 13% in Q3 vs. 8.9% for the S&P 500.New tech-related additions to its portfolio over the quarter include ride-sharing company Uber Technologies (UBER), online luxury goods marketplace The RealReal (REAL), and biotech PureTech (PURE).
