VXRT - Vaxart falls 25% before the bell on public stock offering

- Vaxart ( NASDAQ: VXRT ) said Wednesday it launched an underwritten public stock offering , sending its shares 25.3% lower before the bell.
- The underwriter will be given a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 15% of shares sold in the offering.
- Vaxart currently intends to use the net proceeds of the proposed offering to support the clinical and preclinical development of its product candidates, to conduct clinical trials, to manufacture its product candidates, and for general corporate and working capital purposes.
- There can be no assurance as to when the offering may be completed, or as to its actual size or terms.
