Toronto, Ontario – The Newswire –October 21, 2021 - Ventripoint Diagnostics Ltd.(" Ventripoint " or the " Company "), (TSXV:VPT ) ; ( OTC:VPTDF) is pleased to announce that the East MidlandsCongenital Heart Centre in Leicester , UK has received the VMS+3.0 unit.
This is the second site in the UK to receive theVMS+3.0 as a tool for aiding in the diagnosis and monitoring ofpatients with heart disease. Regular monitoring and reassessments areespecially critical for the care of patients with congenital heartdisease (CHD), as well as for managing case load of new patients. TheVMS+ system is a tool for regular monitoring and assessments becauseit provides a rapid and complete visualization of the function of thewhole heart.
Dr. Gregory Skinner, MB BS MRCPCH, is one ofVentripoint’s early adopters of the first model of the VMS systemand works as a Paediatric Cardiology consultant, specializing inadvanced echocardiography at the East Midlands Congenital HeartCentre. Dr. Skinner runs a regular Advanced Echocardiography ImagingClinic at Glenfield Hospital which is where the new VMS+ 3.0 unit hasbeen installed.
