VEON - Veon granted remaining licenses for amending its 2023 notes and extend its maturities

- Veon ( NASDAQ: VEON ) received the remaining licenses and regulatory confirmations required to implement the amendments to its 2023 Notes from U.K., Dutch and Bermuda authorities.
- The company will announce under separate notices the anticipated process and timeline for the implementation of the amendments and the Put Right.
- It received the OFAC License on Dec.23, 2022, the OFSI License received on Feb.23, 2022 and a confirmation was received on 9 March 2023 from the Netherlands Ministry of Finance that a license or authorization is not required in connection with implementation of the amendments to the 2023 Notes, and a license was received from the Bermudan Sanctions Authority on Mar.31, 2023.
