VEON - VEON receives Nasdaq notice on delayed filing of annual report

- VEON ( NASDAQ: VEON ) received a notice from Nasdaq on May. 03, notifying that it is not compliance with continued listing rules as the Company has delayed in filing its Annual Report on Form 20-F for the year ended December 31, 2022.
- VEON had postponed its Filing of 2022 Annual Report, as it requires additional time to complete VEON’s consolidated financial statements, and, subsequently, receive the related audit report on the financial statements and internal control over financial reporting.
- Currently, VEON progresses towards compliance with Nasdaq Filing requirements, reconfirms appointment of independent external auditor for 2022 Annual Report .
- Following submission of the Company's plan to Nasdaq, Nasdaq may grant the Company an exception of up to 180 calendar days from the due date, or until October 30, 2023, to regain compliance.
- The notification has no immediate effect on the continued listing status of VEON’s American Depositary shares on Nasdaq and its business operations are not affected by the receipt of the notification.
