VIGI's investment mandate is to track the modified-market-cap-weighted NASDAQ International Dividend Achievers Select Index.
Stocks from 44 developed and EM countries that have increased their regular annual dividend for at least seven consecutive years are eligible for the benchmark.
Swiss equities are VIGI's key investment, with an over 17% share of the NAV. It is also overweight in Japanese (15.7%) and Indian (12.8%) stocks.
In terms of sectors, the fund favors tech that sports a 17.7% weight, followed by healthcare (marginally above 17%), and consumer defensive (14%).
I like VIGI's sector mix, but its distribution yield is too low.
