VNOM - Viper Energy rallies amid investor tout

• Viper Energy Partners ( NASDAQ: VNOM ) rose 4.2% rallied amid some bullish investor comments.
• Requisite Capital managing partner Bryn Talkington recommended Viper Energy ( VNOM ) on CNBC.
• Viper Energy is a "Texas-based mineral and royalty interest in natural gas and oil, so has about a 10% distribution," Talkington said. "Go oil, go energy."
• "Supply is going to be tight, demand is still going to be strong," Talkington said. "So I just think it's good play. I like to play the dividend side. Devon ( DVN ), Viper Energy ( VNOM ), BSM all have really good dividends in addition to potential capital appreciation from here. We would definitely be staying long."
• VNOM earlier this month reported Q2 GAAP EPS of $0.44 beats by $0.06, revenue of $239.22M beat by $19.31M.
