RDW - Virgin Galactic and Rocket Lab lead strong day for space sector

A green light from the FAA for Virgin Galactic (SPCE +16.4%) on resuming launches is giving a lift to other names in the space sector. Spire Global (NYSE:SPIR) +6.55%, Rocket Lab USA (NASDAQ:RKLB) +6.85%, Momentus (NASDAQ:MNTS) +1.15%, Redwire (NYSE:RDW) +0.88% and Maxar Technologies (NYSE:MAXR) +1.69% are all higher even as they operate different business models than Virgin Galactic. Of note, Rocket Lab also attracted a bull rating from Stifel today with the strong growth story highlighted. The Procure Space ETF (NASDAQ:UFO) is easily outperforming the S&P 500 Index on the day.
