Edmonton,A B - TheNewswire - January 27, 2023 - Visionstate Corp. (TSXV:VIS) Visionstate (the“ Company ”) is pleased to announce itsportfolio company Exceed Solar, a pure play ESG entity, has launchedits community-driven food security network in partnership with BunzlCanada Inc. (“Bunzl Canada”).
Bunzl Canada has announced its sponsorship of thecommunity-scale, solar-powered greenhouse at the Alberta Avenue CommunityLeague (“AACL”) in Edmonton. Thisstate-of-the-art initiative will provide the community with access tofresh, locally grown produce year-round.
The innovative project was initiated by Edmonton’sown ExceedSolar , a local start-up businessfounded on a passion for the environment and a commitment to making ameaningful impact on the planet by promoting alternative energy andsustainable living. The new greenhouse will feature advancedtechnology, including a 1.2kW solar energy system, heating and coolingductless pump, and an Internet of Things (IoT)-based environmentalmonitoring system.
Construction of the greenhouse is set to begin in thecoming weeks and is expected to be fully operational by Spring 2023,according to Elliot Putters, Exceed Solar’s founder and CEO. “This initiative will have a very positiveimpact on our local community , thanks to ourpartners, Bunzl Canada and the AACL.”
