(TheNewswire)
Edmonton, Alberta,June 19, 2025 – TheNewswire - Visionstate Corp. (TSXV:VIS)(“Visionstate” or the “Company”), i s pleased to announce continued growth of its Wanda smartfacility solution, with another post-secondary institution in Ontariopreparing to implement the technology across 10 campus buildings —including residences, academic facilities, and athletic buildings. Theinstallation is imminent and marks another strong indication of marketmomentum behind Wanda.
The school’s athletic facilities will also be usingWanda’s “Alert” function to enable real-time issue reporting, helping staff respond quickly to hygiene or maintenance concerns. Thedeployment is being led by a building service contractor (BSC) who isnow onboarding additional Wanda clients across Ontario — a signal ofincreasing industry confidence in the platform.
“Post-secondary institutions are embracing Wanda as asimple yet powerful solution to digitally manage cleaning complianceand facility responsiveness — particularly with Bill?190enforcement looming,” said Shannon Moore, President of VisionstateIoT. “This latest customer is onboarding 10 subscriptions — atjust $960 per year per building — with no hardware required. That’s a smart, cost-effective alternative to fines that can reachup to $100,000 under the legislation.”
Visionstate is currently onboarding clients acrossOntario in anticipation of the January 1, 2026, enforcement date forBill 190, which requires public-facing washrooms to post cleaningrecords in a visible and trackable format. In response to thelegislation’s implementation timeline, Visionstate will be delayingits Ontario invoicing until January 1, 2026. This approach givescustomers ample time to complete installations without the pressure ofa last-minute rush.
“We understand there is an added cost to meetingthese new requirements, and Visionstate is pleased to support ourOntario customers by offering the solution free of charge until theJanuary 1 deadline,” added Moore. “We’re committed to ensuring asmooth transition for our customers.”
In parallel, a Class A office tower on Park Avenue inNew York City is preparing to expand its Wanda deployment. Thisprestigious location highlights how the platform contributes topositive public perception, as well as the data intelligence thathelps facility managers make informed decisions about cleaningoperations, staffing, and efficiency.
At a subscription cost of $960 per building per year, the current client onboarding across 10 buildings represents $10,000in annual recurring revenue once billing begins in January 2026. AsWandaLITE continues to prove its value as a scalable, easy-to-deploysolution, Visionstate is well positioned to achieve mass adoptionacross sectors. The company’s strategy of offering a competitivepricing model with low implementation barriers supports wide-scaleadoption while delivering meaningful returns for shareholders throughrecurring software revenue.
Importantly, tens of thousands of businesses and publicfacilities across Ontario are impacted by Bill 190, which mandates thedigital display of restroom cleaning logs by January 1, 2026.Visionstate’s strategic focus is to scale rapidly throughpartnerships with building service contractors, like the oneimplementing Wanda at the latest post-secondary institution. These BSCpartnerships create a powerful channel to reacha broad customer base efficiently and support large-scale complianceahead of the legislative deadline.
