  • VMware ( NYSE: VMW ) said Thursday that Karen Dykstra will become the company's chief financial officer and executive vice president.

  • Current EVP and CFO Zane Rowe will be leaving the company, effective June 9, and will join Workday .

  • Dykstra will take on the CFO job in addition to her current role as a board member, VMware said.
