VLRS - Volaris reports more than 14% rise in demand and capacity for June

- Mexican low-cost airline Volaris ( NYSE: VLRS ) on Friday said demand, measured in revenue passenger miles , increased 14.6% Y/Y to 2.69 billion for June.
- Passenger demand in the domestic Mexican and international markets rose 10.4% and 24.1%, respectively.
- Volaris' capacity, measured in available seat miles, rose 16.1% Y/Y to 3.23 billion.
- Load factor for June rose to 83.3% from 84.4% a year ago.
- The airline transported 2.7 million passengers in June, a 13.7% Y/Y increase.
