VLRS - Volaris reports more than 60% rise in demand and capacity for March

Mexican low-cost airline Volaris (NYSE:VLRS) said demand, measured in revenue passenger miles, increased 60.4% Y/Y to 2.4B for March. Passenger demand in the domestic Mexican and international markets rose 45.6% Y/Y and 123% Y/Y, respectively. Volaris' capacity, measured in available seat miles, gained 61.2% Y/Y. Load factor for March fell to 86.5% from 86.9% a year ago. The airline transported 2.5M passengers in March, a 61.8% Y/Y increase.
