- Liberty Latin America is in a phase of growth-through-acquisition in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Closing of the acquisition of Telefónica Costa Rica assets is expected this year.
- The company has some success in selling additional fixed line services in the footprint, adding organic volume growth. A remaining challenge, though, is to grow ARPU across services and geographies.
- The Q1 2021 report shows that the ARPUs are rising YoY, but a closer inspection reveals that this is due to inclusion of the acquired Puerto Rico subscribers.
- Growth-through-acquisition in Costa Rica will again drive the business in 2021, while organic growth has far less impact. It remains to be seen if the ARPUs can grow.
