EDTK - Wah Fu Education stock soars on meme pump

MEDITERRANEAN/E+ via Getty Images Wah Fu Education (WAFU) earlier jumped over 60% and is now up 17% as social media pumped the Chinese education company. Wah Fu was mentioned on Reddit's WallStreetBets forum and Stocktwits. Wah Fu has a market capitalization of $33M. A similar Chinese education company called Elite Education (EEIQ), which went public in late March, also briefly spiked up 16%. Other Chinese education names to watch include Skillful Craftsman Education (EDTK) and China Liberal Education (CLEU). In late March, Wah Fu and Elite Education skyrocketed in premarket trading also with no news, though social media chatter was rampant.
