WCN - Waste Connections receives approval for renewal of its NCIB from TSX

- Waste Connections ( NYSE: WCN ) has received approval from the TSX for the annual renewal of its normal course issuer bid .
- The renewal will follow on the conclusion of the Company's current NCIB expiring Aug. 9, 2023.
- Pursuant to the renewed NCIB, the Co. proposes to purchase through the facilities of the TSX and the NYSE, from time to time over the next 12 months, if considered advisable, up to 12.88M common shares, being 5% of its 257.63M issued and outstanding common shares as of Aug. 1, 2023.
- Under the current NCIB that commenced on Aug. 10, 2022, and that will expire on Aug. 9, 2023, the Co. sought and obtained approval from the TSX to purchase up to 12.86M common shares for cancellation.
