Overview
Western Asset Diversified Income Fund ( WDI ) operates as a closed end fund that aims to provide attractive total returns from its portfolio of high-yield credit investments. I believe that an income fund like WDI can be an efficient way to offset the market volatility and uncertainty that traditional equities present, especially as indexes continue to close near their all time highs. When I previously covered WDI, I issued a hold rating due to the shrinking discount to NAV valuation.
