• The metrics are divided into long leading, short leading, and coincident indicators.
• While there was some very slight deterioration overall, in absolute terms all three time frames remain very positive.
• Delta has not made a serious dent in the consumer economy.
• In fact, the bigger long leading concern is that the economy is so strong, with not-transitory inflation, that it attracts interest rate attention from the Fed.
