OMAHA, Neb., Sept. 13, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ: WERN), a premier transportation and logistics company, is proud to support the World’s Largest Truck Convoy® from Hastings, Nebraska, to Grand Island, Nebraska, from Sept. 14 through Sept. 15, to raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics.

The truck convoy will start at the Adams County Fairgrounds in Hastings and end at the Bosselman Travel Center in Grand Island. This year, 31 Werner professional drivers will participate in the 15th annual event, which will raise funds to benefit the more than 5,000 Special Olympic athletes in Nebraska.
