The Westaim Corporation ( “Westaim” or the “Company” ) (TSXV: WED) is pleased to announce that it will host its Annual Investor Day on Thursday May 18, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. (Eastern Time) in-person at Vantage Venues, Inverness Room, 27 th Floor, 150 King Street West, Toronto, ON, Canada M5H 1J9 and virtually via a live stream. The agenda will include a business overview and discussion with management from Westaim and Arena Investors, followed by a question-and-answer session. Due to the Initial Public Offering and expanded disclosure by Skyward Specialty, management from Skyward Specialty will not be participating in the Annual Investor Day. Those not available to attend in person will have an opportunity to submit questions in advance through registration. The presentation will be available on the Company’s website, www.westaim.com , after the Annual Investor Day and for at least 180 days thereafter.

Westaim also announces that it has filed on the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR) and on its website its management information circular and related materials for its annual and special meeting of shareholders (“ASM”) to be held on Thursday May 18, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern Time).
