GDO - Western Asset Global Corporate Defined Opportunity Fund Inc. Announces Results of Annual Meeting of Shareholders

Western Asset Global Corporate Defined Opportunity Fund Inc., which is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “GDO,” announced today the results of the votes cast at the Fund’s annual meeting of shareholders held February 22, 2019.

Robert D. Agdern and Eileen A. Kamerick were elected as Class III Directors of the Fund by owners of its common stock to hold office until the annual meeting of shareholders in the year 2022 or until their respective successors are duly elected and qualified or until they resign or are otherwise removed.

Nisha Kumar was elected as a Class II Director of the Fund by owners of its common stock to hold office until the annual meeting of shareholders in the year 2021 or until her successor is duly elected and qualified or until she resigns or is otherwise removed.
